This plot will take place once leaf-bare starts, regardless of whether we have enough cats. It would be nice, though, if all medicine cat positions were filled beforehand. It will be a side-wide plot, and will involve special cats to volunteer. NO OTHER PLOTS WILL OCCUR AT THE SAME TIME AS THIS PLOT. (That means Gangs vs. Clans will occur AFTER this plot.)

Leaf-bare has always been difficult, but this season, leaf-bare takes a turn for the worse by bringing in a sickness that not even the medicine cats can understand. When Firepaw (or maybe even Fireheart by the time the plot starts) starts coughing uncontrollably, it's thought to be the typical green-or-whitecough. However, it turns out to be much more serious when Firepaw doesn't respond to the treatments he's provided. The sickness starts to spread from there, and though Firepaw is in most danger because he was the first victim, the other cats are fussed over as well.

The medicine cats know well that the outcome of the sickness will NOT be pretty. If they don't find a cure, it will be fatal. But if they don't even identify the sickness, how can they cure the cats that are afflicted with it? A majority of the medicine cats are distraught, and it's believed that the Clans will slowly die within from being gripped in the claws of sickness.

However, when all hope seems lost, one of the medicine cats has a vivid dream. In this dream, there are sweet-smelling flowers, later called Star Flowers. An icy blue, and very rare, they are found in the unknown territories, in a journey much farther than any Clan cat has gone before. And the sickness, icecough, is uncurable without the treatment.

Will they be able to find the treatment? More importantly, will they get it in on time?

All right, this is our first leaf-bare plot, so let's make it a good one.

I need some people to volunteer to be sick cats, and one to volunteer to have the vivid dream. Other people may volunteer their cats freely to go with the dream-cat to find the Star Flower.

Some cats may die in this plot. Please keep that in mind.
