I'm a Long furred smoky black tom with sightless blue eyes.

This is my full physical description//:
Deadpaw is a long furred tom, his coat is a smoky black and on the insides the beginning of each strand of fur is a faded off gray. Confirming the statement 'smoky'. He's blind, all the way, so his eyes are an off-light blue so to say they match his outer personality. He's extremely fluffy, so beneath all that tuft of a coat, he's got some muscular build. As amazing as it seems. His paws are large and round, rooted with thick hair from in between his pads. And his back legs are normal, so basically he's a regular cat. Not too tall, not too short. As for his tail, it's wider at the tip than the entire thing, but you can't tell simply from his puff. His muzzle is perfect, and his ears are tall though his left ear has a slight nick in it from a rickity chase as a kit out of camp. His nose is black, and his teeth and claws are a shiny gray/pearly white. Individual claws may vary. He's more lithe than burly, so it'd be right to say he's not much on brute strength. Only speed. Also, inside of his coat faint gray stripes run along his charcoal hide. Though they can hardly be distinguished.

Here's my inheritance//:
Deadpaw's not sure what he got from his parents, he knows his father and mother both look nothing like him, and to him, from their appearances from description and his own...he finds it sort of suspicious. He's blind, so his eye color is out of the question...his body and long fur? No idea. He just assumes that he inherited his appearance from an earlier relative. Which is fine with him, `cause they're dead anyway. But he's absolute he received his faint stripes from Fawnfeather, she had pale ones too but if that were on anything, that would be about all he got from anyone he was related to. Including his spiteful attitude.

My strengths//:
Deadpaws strengths have got to be confidence, it's a strong thing he has. He believes you can do anything if you set your mind to it, and that love can overcome the most hardest of all problems. He's strongly willed and smart. And he's loyal, but for a true strength he values some of the things his blindness has brought him. He has a strong belief in EclipseClan. He can sense things specially, like his hearing and his sense of smell have both increased due to the lack of vision. He cherishes this with passion. He could find a mouse hiding in the smallest heartbeat, and devour it in just one more.

My weaknesses//:
Low self esteem, and a bad foul sour mean and rude temper. He's too sarcastic and that's a problem, usually. He feels like he's useless, even if he's chosen to walk the path of a Medicine cat. And though he believes in strong confidence and bravery and etc; he is convinced he has none of those qualities. Only stubbornness and immaturity. Originally he wanted to fight alongside his sisters and be a Warrior but when he realized his defect would not allow him to do the things his siblings could do; he gave up and decided to follow a path that deems a calling for those pathetic blind cats. He believes EclipseClan is strong and almighty, but his concentration and respect for them is poor. Which gives him his own scolding for being reckless and appearing inconsiderate.

My fighting style//:
Verbal. He's got claws he just doesn't know where he'll be aiming a blow, but nonetheless, he has enough backbone to throw one. ;]. But if it really came down to it, he would be able to feel his enemies paw steps through the Earth, and smell them. Thus, knowing where they are and usually being able to predict where they will attack from. And if the case if different, lets say he's in thick undergrowth, carefully avoiding trees and searching for a special herb he needs...and then some rogue leaps out and gets ready to attack because of their hatred for the Clans, he would definitely hear them thundering through the undergrowth and depending on his position on downwind or upwind, not that it matters under a canopy, he would be able to sense where their steps were coming from and maybe dodge. But that's a 50/50 chance we're talking here.

My personality//:
In Clan wise, Deadpaw would definitely have to be loyal. He believes everything from EclipseClan, which was how he was raised as a kit. He trusts his Clan mates and his leader especially to make wise decisions for the Clan and for it's benefit. However, he's picky and stubborn. He feels pity on himself, pity that he doesn't realize, because he's blind. He thinks of himself as useless and the best way to make use of a useless cat is become a Medicine cat who gets stinky up in the Medicine cat's den. Though he hates not being able to see he values some of things he can do because of that specific reason. Like, his better sense of smell and his hearing.. they're all so sharp. He doesn't know what it's like to have better senses than others, because he's been blind his entire life. So it's normal to him. But if he wasn't blind, his scent glands and hearing would be duller than they are. Not very cool. He is all for the rules of being a Medicine cat, after all who would ever love him? He's as sour as bad milk. But he's smart and sensible.

He seems like he doesn't consider anyone else's feelings or their logic's, only his own; the truth is he just is too stuck on self sympathy that he never notices anything else. But he can be friendly and sweet; on his better days. And trust him, he's seen better ones for sure. He's really good with remembering herbs, knowing them by scent only. And their tastes. Deadpaw doesn't like to be judged from not being able to see. Cats underestimate him and he feels like they need to stick around and find out the truth. Could this be another reason pointing to his ire?

History:
This is my Kithood//:
As a kit, Deadkit was mischievous. Always getting into trouble when he disobeyed his mothers orders to stay in the Nursery. He wanted to explore and act like a Warrior already, since that was his future dream. But little did he know, he would never become what he wanted to be. He continued his rampaging, and played with his siblings Sugarkit and Starlingkit. Their mother Fawnfeather was approving but the older they got the more restless they became and along with the cold weather she died from a deadly cough. Winterwood took care of their kits, as devastated as he was, Deadkit and the she-kits mourned her passing and over time she was faintly forgotten.

But due to only one parent in his life, excluding the entire Clan, he felt more confident and slid away from the safety of the camp. He wasn't really sure what he was doing, only that he wanted to have some fun and play around as if he were a Warrior. Out of nowhere while he daffled with the leaves, the ones he couldn't see, only sense and smell and hear.. a fox moved from behind, it's eyes glistening with blood lust and it's teeth bared from beyond it's pulled back lips. Deadkit continued without notice. The large red paws pounded over the blanketed earth of the frozen plants and grime; with a yip of fear the small kit turned to examine his enemies position from the ground vibrations. And with a cry, the fox advanced but with his own fear Deadkit ducked to cower. The teeth ripped through his ear like snow and he yowled in pain.

The fox reversed to come and deal a killing blow before it devoured it's meal; fresh cat and warm too! Winterwood let out a battle cry, a patrol streaming down from behind to attack. Even as strong as the Warrior was, and how much he loved his only son, he was no match for a hungry fox. Only in a matter of seconds, had the fox and the tom, killed each other. Deadkit had no idea, he only knew there was blood. The sweet bitter tang that rose and down the back of his throat every time he breathed. There were some gasps but in the end, Deadkit was returned to camp by a Clan mate before he knew exactly what had happened.

Of course later on he wondered out again, but not until he had become an apprentice. He'd learned the truth of his parents deaths; no matter there wasn't a problem really. EclipseClan had planned everything, and this was their destiny. His sisters would eventually have mates and kits and they would carry on the bloodline, but for Deadpaw, who discovered harshly he would never be a Warrior, became a Medicine cat Apprentice to walk the path he never would have found himself drifting down if he'd had the courage to face the fox, and save his fathers life. Better a useless kit than a brave Warrior.

Summary:
Deadkit was born with his two sisters, Sugarkit and Starlingkit by his parents Fawnfeather and Winterwood. Deadkit was an adventurous kit and would often leave camp for dangerous strolls. His mother died from a cough and being scolded wasn't enough by just one parent and the next time he left the camp, while playing with leaves a fox came and attacked him. Giving him a nick in his ear and when the fox tried to attack again a patrol of several cats and Winterwood, Deadkits father came and Winterwood died in the process of killing the fox. So Deadkit was returned to camp, and didn't leave the camp until after he had become a Medicine cat apprentice.
