ONGOING SITE PLOT:
Welcome to the alliances of the fighting cats, the felidae fighters. They had always been in a constant struggle for survival, whether it be their Clans or families, which had settled in the lands before that of the Clans. Peace had settled over the land for many seasons, many moons, and the Clans and families prospered, sort of like a golden age.
However, things took a turn for the worse when suddenly Gang of Sorrows, as the gang was called, asked for a slice of territory. They wanted to adapt to become Clans, however, their true goal was to take over like their sibling gang, the Gang of Shadows. Ever since the asking and the abrupt move in of the Gang of Shadows, things have been going from bad to worse, and the peace that was shared for moons was torn apart. New threats began to spring up, and fires have been on the rise; suspicious.
Could the Clans and families survive their newfound ordeal? We will only find the answers through roleplaying. The felidae fighters unsheathe their claws on a new plot.
OTHER PLOTS/PLANNED: Gangs vs. Clans ~ The Clans and the Gangs, joining up to form two groups FreedomClan and Gang of Unity, will have a war. Presented by Jaypaw. Leaf-Bare's Curse ~ Firepaw catches a sickness called icecough and the only cure for it is the Star Flower, found rarely in the unknown territories. Presented by Jaypaw.

There is no freaking way that I'm going to be able to do this teaching on my very own. That's where staff come in. I don't think you need an example. You don't have to be a staff member on the site to be staff in the school of roleplaying. Please note that if I don't hire you, it doesn't mean you have to learn from the school, or that you're bad at roleplaying; it just means you aren't fit for the job that you are applying for. Without a doubt, though, staff that are actually staff at the site will probably be picked sooner.

Heart beating hard and furiously against his throat, cold claws seemed to pierce his body from every angle and stung like a burning fire. The pale orbs of Loststripe gazed up at the sky as he shivered in defeat. It was pointless already, rain and sleet would come soon and pelt him down and force him under the care of his Medicine Cat.
Time seemed to stop altogether as his mind ceased with fear. The tom wasn't ready, and yet he couldn't let the entire Clan perish a horrible death. His duty and sense were tearing him into pieces, doubts clouded his thoughts.
Great StarClan... why didn't I see this coming?
Pawsteps beat against the ground, the echo of yowls rang in his ears. His senses were dulling, leaving only the thought of protection alert. His muscles ached, but he continued to pad on with his ringed green eyes focused intently ahead.
RolePlay Tutoring Example:
The two things I see most of in RP'ers that really gets to me;; [Quotation/Paragraph] Grammar and Usage.
Example 1..
" I'm not hungry " FireStar said before turning around to walk back into his den. SandStorm meowed after him " wait "
There are 5 things wrong with this. {1- The quotations have no space before the words.} {2-Commas should be in the quotations. Also, when quotation ends a sentence you need the period in the quotation} {3-There are 2 quotations in the main paragraph. There should be a new paragraph when we changed over to Sandstorm's actions} {4-The names only have one captital letter, unlike the names we have (Take Mary-Ann for example) the names are treated as a one-word. FireStar should just be Firestar.} {5-DETAILS!!! Yes, detail is important. You notice that Firestar said and walked. Cats do not speak, they meow, growl, yowl and purr. They also pad, crouch and slink...ect.}

RolePlay Experience: Hm, I would say that I've been roleplaying for four or five years now, my memory fails me as to when I actually began to roleplay. Perhaps Jaypaw would have the actual amount of years memorized.
RolePlay Example:
High above the sandy shore of the ocean, a full moon glistened a pale yellow on the breaking waves of the sea; it was a lovely sight to behold, bringing loved ones together, and a moment of rest for a stressed out leader. Paintedeclipse sat there in the fading glow of the moon, nose tipped up towards the moon, eyes closed in a relaxed manner, and tail gently tapping the grains of sand to the beat of the waves. Her body flexed instinctively as a cool wave gently lapped at her paws, sending a familiar shiver down her spine. The stresses of the day seemed to melt away, dripping down her beautiful calico pelt, just to be washed away the tide. A soft purr rumbled from her chest, a small smile creasing her lips as she whispered to herself, "I'm glad to be home."
RolePlay Tutoring Example:
I'm a detail person, so when I roleplay or read topics that others have roleplayed in, I like to have visuals in my head. So, I think that is one that I will teach. Details, details, and more lovely details.
Example: He jumped, landing ontop of his prey, making a swift kill to bring back.
*shudders* Yeah, it was hard for me to create an example because I don't like lack of detail.
Anyways my teaching style would be short examples, whether it is through a seperate topic or PM where I come up with an example and my tutee responds with a more creative post. I would ask for them to describe the "he" in this sentence. Is he a black, white, or calico cat; is he small or extremely large? Long or short fur? That knocks down a few sentences there, since the idea of creating the image of a cat can be very fun.
Next we would move onto his actions. Was he stalking before leaping upon his prey? Was he in a full out sprint or did the prey happen to stroll by? Give it a little more action, is what I would suggest. Then when it comes to this cat's landing, did he just fall on top of it? Or did he crush it with his weight? Did he kill it quickly or let it struggle? That also adds a few more sentences to the growing paragraph.
Lastly, there has to be a reason why there was a hunt. Whether he was doing it for the clan or for himself, there should be a little more information on it. Then there is a few more sentences spent on describing that, and then finally, on how he carried it back or turned selfish and consumed it.
I just believe that creating an image in your own mind while you roleplay will create a better sentence because you add detail into it, and everyone loves detail! But in conclusion, my style would consist on a little on one one kind of teaching.
